We propose to create an outreach education certificate program specifically for marine contractors and consultants that would provide them with training in various aspects of coastal resources. In addition to providing a source of revenue, this would lead to better-informed contractors and consultants training in the environmentally-preferred approaches to dealing with issues such as shoreline erosion and water access. |
