STRATEGIC GOAL A No net loss in coastal sand dune systems extent	INTERMEDIATE GOALS: 1. Change public understanding of sand dune values / change behavior (don’t build on or walk on dunes) 2. Identify existing systems 3. Identify/ minimize sources of losses
STRATEGIC GOAL MEASURES: Decrease in dune area impacted through the permit process Decrease in dune area impacted through trampling/trespassing	INTERMEDIATE GOAL MEASURES: · Increase in percentage of reach showing improved understanding of sand dune values (via survey) Increase in miles of shoreline inventoried for dunes Increase in number of dune acres preserved
