Goal 18. To improve and maintain productive and ecologically sound fisheries

STRATEGIC GOAL A

 Maintain clean waters (refer to goal 1 and 2)

 

 

INTERMEDIATE GOALS:

1. Change public understanding/behavior regarding PS and NPS pollution

2. Reduce toxics and nutrient levels to identified ‘safe’ levels in all waters

3. Clean up benthic habitat/waters when appropriate

STRATEGIC GOAL MEASURES:

·        Increased percentage of impaired waters with implemented TMDLs

INTERMEDIATE GOAL MEASURES:

·        Increase in percentage of reach showing improved understanding point and non-point source pollution (via survey)
