Maintain productive, clean and environmentally-friendly aquaculture

 

 

 

INTERMEDIATE GOALS:

1.      Establish criteria/health and environmental standards and licensing for aquaculture facilities

 

2.  Conduct comprehensive and continuous monitoring of all aquaculture facilities and the  surrounding environment

STRATEGIC GOAL MEASURES:

·        Increase in the amount of fish and shellfish produced and marketed from aquaculture facilities

·        Decrease in the number of aquaculture facilities violating state health and environmental requirements
