STRATEGIC GOAL B:

 

Air quality at “safe” levels for ecosystem effects

INTERMEDIATE GOALS:

 

1. Change public understanding/ behavior
2. Identify safe levels for ecosystem health
3. Promulgate regulations and incentives for all industries to keep emissions to a safe minimum

 

STRATEGIC GOAL MEASURES:

  • reduction in pollutants released to the air (NOx and VOC)
  • decrease in acid rain deposition days
  • reduction in size of ozone maintenance for non-attainment areas

 

INTERMEDIATE GOAL MEASURES:

·        Increase in percentage of reach showing improved understanding of air quality and its effects on ecosystem health (via survey)
