STRATEGIC GOAL A

No degradation of existing submerged land habitat

 

 

INTERMEDIATE GOALS:

1. Improve public understanding of submerged land habitat value

2. Identify and define sensitive areas

3. Minimize dredging and other disruptive activities in sensitive areas

4. Improve water clarity for SAV growth

 

STRATEGIC GOAL MEASURES:

  • Decrease in area impacted through permitting process

 

INTERMEDIATE GOAL MEASURES:

·        Increase in percentage of reach showing improved understanding of submerged land habitat value (via survey)

·        Decrease in sensitive area dredging (to 0)

·        Increased percentage of submerged land inventoried and classified

·        Increase in proportion of Tier 1 goal vegetated (to 100%)
