From version 5.3 onward, SCHISM modeling system is distributed via svn.
- Make sure your system has svn v1.6 or above (see this site for a manual for using svn). Linux/unix svn works best;
- cd into a directory where you want to store the code, and issue the following command:
svn co http://www.ccrm.vims.edu/schism/branches/v5.3
user name: anonymous
passwd: you don't need passwd as this is an anonymous site
- You also have free access to the following directories:
- http://www.ccrm.vims.edu/schism/schism_verification_tests: test suite we use to test the trunk version.
Due to differences between the
release branch and trunk, you may need to modify some input files (e.g. param.in) but we hope
these tests show you how we set up models for different problems;
- Remember to svn update to get the latest. We'll send out an announcement via mailing list when a newer version becomes available.
- useful user info can be found in /src/beta_notes (including change of format
for input files and bug fixes).
