A. Clean shellfish waters and benthic habitats for growth and harvesting

2. Reduce toxics and nutrient levels to “safe levels” in waters affecting shellfish

3. Clean up beds/waters when and where appropriate

2. Continuously monitor population health and establish and regulate takes in special management areas (unimproved waters and relaying)

1. Establish criteria/health and environmental standards and licensing for shellfish aquaculture facilities

2. Conduct comprehensive and continuous monitoring of all shellfish aquaculture facilities and the surrounding environment
